Back-to-school with Onyx & Green

Back-to-school is pretty much here and I just wanted to send a little love out to Onyx and Green, a Montreal company that uses eco-friendly materials and processes to produce highly functional, beautiful office and school supplies at affordable prices.  The company is exploring using innovative recycling and sustainable products including sugar cane fibres, bamboo products, natural and recycled fabrics and stone paper made from construction site debris etc. Some of their nifty products include pens made out of recycled bottles and bamboo, stone paper notebooks -which if you haven’t heard are waterproof, as well as their bags which are all made from jute plants and recycled material. Plus all their packaging is recycled and printed on with soy ink instead of traditional petroleum-based inks. I’m always a huge advocate for being resourceful and using what you have. But if you find yourself needing a few things before back-to-school and want to be prepared, gear up responsibly and support a small company with green intentions.
