Here is the best way to unclog your drains. I use this in my shower and sinks, and it never fails me! Bonus: there are no nasty, scary chemicals, and no plastic waste, AND it’s basically a science experiment!
Step 1. Run hot water down the drain (one minute should do it).
Step 2. Pour baking soda down the drain. I used ⅓ of a cup here (you can use more ), and usually use a spoon to help it get as far down the drain as possible.
Step 3. Pour vinegar down the drain, and cover the drain. I used ½ cup here, and keep pouring until all the vinegar is down! If it’s bubbling a lot, cover the drain for a second until it calms down and then continue.
Step 4. Pour boiling water down the drain. I usually boil the kettle once I cover the drain and leave the drain covered until the kettle is boiled! Depending on how clogged the drain is, you may need to do this a few times.
And there you go! Easy peasy. I usually do this once every few months, or sooner if needed.
